📋 Draft v1.2 is published for review and is not yet in force. Version 1.1 remains in force on the main site's Terms page. This draft requires Carmen's approval and a dated release. It adds sections on development status and pre-release software (§16–§17), and updates §6 to reference the Privacy Policy draft. Sections 1–15 retain their existing numbering.

The trust layer · Terms & Conditions · plain language on purpose

The deal, in plain words.

Terms and conditions are usually written to protect a company from the people reading them. These are written to be read: seventeen short sections, a summary, and 📋 marks wherever legal review remains unfinished.

Version 1.2 (draft) · July 13, 2026 · changelog: v1.2 adds §16 (development status) and §17 (pre-release software) and links §6 to the Privacy Policy draft; v1.1 added §15 (good-faith security research); v1.0 first draft · under legal review 📋

The summary you can trust

  • This site is free, and it has no accounts.
  • What you type into the tools never reaches us — documents are made on your device and belong to you.
  • Nothing here is medical, legal, or financial advice. Emergencies: 911. Mental-health crisis (US): 988.
  • Everything here is in development — including early software that has not yet had an independent security review. Don't trust it with real records yet; §16 and §17 say this without flinching.
  • Taking part means following the Community Guidelines — dated, versioned, and recorded when you agree.
  • These terms are a draft (v1.2) under legal review. Changes will be announced in "New in this place."

The terms

1 · Who we are

This site is operated by Care Delivery Inc, a Delaware corporation. KISOP is our project. The vision is written at carmenw.com.

2 · What this site is

Information, ideas, and tools that run entirely in your browser. Using it requires no account and costs nothing.

3 · Your documents are yours

The tools (plans, letters, briefs, sheets, kits) generate documents on your device. We never receive, see, or store them. You are responsible for how you use them.

4 · Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or financial advice, and no Host, helper, or tool replaces a licensed professional. For emergencies call 911; for mental-health crisis in the US, call or text 988.

5 · No accounts, on purpose

If you ask the site to remember your name or your shelf, that memory lives only in your browser and vanishes if you clear it. We run no tracking.

6 · Writing to us and applying updated in v1.2

Applications happen on our own intake service, not on this page. What we collect and why is listed on the door you use and — as of this draft — in the full Privacy Policy (v1.2, in force) published beside these terms. We do not sell personal information.

7 · Community Guidelines

Taking part — applying, joining a Circle, holding any role — requires agreeing to the Community Guidelines. Guidelines and Terms are dated and versioned, and the versions you accept are recorded.

8 · Your suggestions

By sending suggestions (region names, term fixes, ideas), you grant Care Delivery Inc a non-exclusive, irrevocable right to use them — consistent with our charter promise that community results are released to everyone. Send only what is yours to send.

9 · Our content

Site content is © Care Delivery Inc 2026, except materials expressly marked with open licenses (specifications and registries carry their own terms as published). Personal, non-commercial use is welcome; do not misrepresent the source.

10 · Acceptable use

Do not use this site to harvest information about members, impersonate others, break laws, or attempt to defeat the privacy and consent posture the site exists to demonstrate.

11 · As is

The site and tools are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid to use this site: nothing. Where the law does not allow that limit, our liability is the minimum the law permits.

12 · Changes

These terms are versioned and dated. Material changes will be announced in "New in this place." Continued use after a change means the then-current version applies.

13 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. 📋 Venue and final governing-law choice pending counsel review.

14 · Contact

Use Write to us and choose "feedback." We do not publish an email address because public inboxes attract impersonation and fraud.

15 · Good-faith security research

We welcome it. If you probe this site or our published code in good faith — no destroying data, no invading others' privacy, no disrupting service — and you report what you find through Write to us (kind: security), we will not pursue legal action against you for the research itself, and we will credit you unless you prefer otherwise. This is our safe harbor in plain language; a formal coordinated-disclosure policy ships with the public repository. 📋

16 · Development status new in v1.2

KISOP — the site, the software, and the specifications — is under active development and is not finished. Pages are dated and updated when the project changes. Claims are labeled as built and tested, designed on paper, or still an idea, and the "New in this place" board records changes. As of this version's date, no independent cybersecurity audit, penetration test, or certification of any KISOP software has taken place — the builders test their own work and publish exactly what is and isn't tested, but no outside party has yet been engaged to try to break it. When that changes, the site will say so, dated. Until it does, nothing on this site is a representation that any KISOP software is finished, secure, or suitable for holding real personal records.

17 · Pre-release software and specifications new in v1.2

Any KISOP code or specification we publish before a 1.0 release is pre-release: provided as is, without warranties of any kind, including security, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. If you run pre-release code or build against a pre-release specification, you do so at your own risk — and specifically: do not put information into pre-release software that you cannot afford to lose or to have exposed. Materials published under open licenses carry their own license terms as published. Nothing in these terms grants rights in the KISOP or Care Delivery names or marks.

Current status

Draft v1.2, written July 13, 2026. Sections 1–15 carry over from v1.1 (July 5, 2026 — the version in force on the main site today) with numbering unchanged; §6 is updated to point at the Privacy Policy draft; §16 and §17 are new. Drafted with AI assistance; Carmen's review is pending, counsel review is pending.

How a draft takes effect: Carmen approves the wording, the next dated release publishes it on the main Terms page, and each application records the version shown to the applicant. That version-recording mechanism is already built.
