The ideas behind this place

Mission

KISOP stands for “knowledge in service of people.” Knowledge helps you solve the problem in front of you, keeps you healthy, holds your household and your community together — and it should reach every person. That duty sits with experts, and it also sits with a loved one or neighbor. This space exists to help us do that work. It is love in action.

A safe box for your life's story — health, home, money, people. You own the box. It lives where you choose, anywhere in the world.

Anyone who wants to look — an app, an AI, a doctor, even family — has to ask. You decide. It's written down.

When the community pays to build a tool, everyone gets it. Nobody can take it away.

What KISOP isOne idea, sixteen years old: knowledge that belongs to people. A repository you ownA place that's yours. Keep the raw dataThe original — the image, the signal, the structure behind it. Local ownership and economic security

KISOP’s economic model connects shared public tools with locally owned businesses. The aim is to make useful services and paid work easier to build, including for people with limited savings or access to financing. Local owners would keep their businesses and the value of their ownership.
